Gino Daamen
We rented the lake with a group of 12 anglers. Collectively, we caught 46 carp, along with several grass carp and a few sturgeons. Additionally, some tench and bream were caught here and there. We were positioned at swim 3, where we caught 15 carp, the largest weighing 23.2 kg. The average weight ranged from 12 to 15 kg. Additionally, we caught 8 grass carp, one sturgeon, and 2 tench. Throughout the lake, we noticed numerous fish swimming with hooks and complete rigs with lead still attached. Without exaggerating, during the week we collectively removed a few hundred meters of line from the water, some of which were still attached to the fish. Increased supervision of anglers would be a significant improvement. It appears that not all anglers use fish-safe rigs. After the friendly reception, we didn't see the manager at the lakeside again. The lake is beautiful with very attractive fish. For the time being, our group would consider returning in about five years, as the average fish weight is currently on the lower side. This is naturally due to circumstances and associated stock introductions.
